In 1936, master carpenter Hansen constructed an innovation in the company's history. Hansen was not only a skilled professional, but also a technical artist. With the good help of the company's technical draftsmen, he designed a rack and pinion steering machine.
This invention was a great innovation for the coastal fleet, which until now had to manoeuvre the large and heavy-duty cable control machines.
